Ruidoso village employees allowed to carry concealed weapons

RUIDOSO, N .M. (KRQE) – Ruidoso village employees will now be allowed to carry concealed guns at work if they have state permit.

The village council unanimously passed the resolution Tuesday. The move follows in the footsteps of Roswell, which passed a similar measure last year following the deadly shooting at the Clovis library.

Under the new rule, employees who want to carry a weapon will have to get approval from the village administration.
