Game and Fish asks for help with cutthroat trout conservation efforts

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico Game and Fish needs your help with its cutthroat trout conservation efforts.

Fisheries staff is asking for volunteers to carry the Rio Grande cutthroat trout to a new home.

Volunteers will pack and carry two to four gallons of water containing the fish into the Rio Grande Del Norte National Monument near Taos.

It will take place March 30 at the La Junta Trailhead.
