Ruidoso considers allowing employees to carry concealed weapons

RUIDOSO, N.M. (KRQE) – Another New Mexico town is considering allowing its employees to carry concealed weapons.

Ruidoso Village Councilors are considering a resolution that would allow certain municipal workers with conceal-carry permits to bring their guns to work.

Councilor Joe Eby who proposed the measure pointed to tragedies like the Clovis Library shooting to argue in favor of the move.

Roswell passed a similar measure last year.
