ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Some New Mexico homeowners will be getting some money back.
The state’s Attorney General’s office has reached a $45 million settlement with PHH Mortgage Corporation.
Investigators say their actions led to improper foreclosures and other problems for homeowners. In total, 265 New Mexico homeowners will receive part of that settlement.
The office says affected homeowners will be contacted in the next few months.
