UNM holds symposium in hopes to retain New Mexico’s workforce

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The University of New Mexico is hoping to retain the state’s workforce with a symposium that begins Tuesday.

Officials will talk about ways to reverse “Brain Drain” and keep the most skilled people from leaving New Mexico.

They say the most qualified workers want to stay but there’s a lack of opportunity.

The symposium runs through Thursday and will discuss ways to create more jobs here in New Mexico.
