NM congressional candidate accused of stalking heads to treatment

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – A New Mexico congressional candidate accused of stalking is headed to treatment.

David Alcon allegedly stalked a woman late last month at a Halloween party in Santa Fe. Alcon, who is vying for the state’s open District Two congressional seat, was arrested this month in Albuquerque.

According to court documents, he’s been released on GPS monitoring and is being transferred to the Mesilla Valley Hospital, which is an adult addiction recovery center.
