Medical license suspended of physician assistant accused of rape

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A physician assistant accused of raping a young girl had his medical license suspended.

In September, James Beverly was arrested at the family practice clinic where he worked in Cedar Crest after the girl claimed he abused her for months.

Beverly is also being sued by Bank of America.

Court documents show that he and his partner who own the clinic have failed to make payments on the property.

The bank is asking for a third party to come in and sell the clinic’s assets.
