New Mexicans can now take steps to get a piece of the Western Union payout.
The company agreed in January to pay $586 million to people who used their wire transfer service to send money as part of a scam.
Attorney General Hector Balderas says it applies to customers who used the service between 2004 and January 19, 2017.
Those who already reported they had been a victim should get a claim form in the mail. If you didn’t get one, you can still apply online.
