Sen. Udall co-sponsors Bernie Sander’s universal healthcare bill

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico Sen. Tom Udall is throwing his support behind Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Tuesday, Sen. Udall announced he is co-sponsoring Sanders’ universal healthcare bill.

The “Medicare for All Bill” would, in effect, expand Medicare to cover all Americans, not just the elderly.

According to Sanders, the legislation would create a federally administered single-payer health care program, and allow patients to choose their own health care provider.
