ABQ Animal Welfare to offer Pit Bull training classes

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Animal Welfare wants to help you become a more responsible pet owner.

They will offer Pit Bill training classes every Saturday in October at Los Altos Park. The goal is to help people better understand the breed and change the perception that often comes with it.

The classes include good dog manners, leash training and fun games with your Pit Bill or Pit Bull-mix.

Below are the dates of 1-hour classes that will be offered in October.

 Oct. 7 – 1st class: 10:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.; 2nd class: noon – 1 p.m.

Oct. 14 – 1st class: 10:30 a.m. – 11:30a.m.; 2nd class: noon – 1 p.m.

Oct. 21 – 1st class: 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m., 2nd class: noon – 1 p.m.

Oct. 28 – 1st class: 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m., 2nd class noon – 1 p.m.
