DURANGO, Colo. (KRQE) – Durango buses will soon be getting some major upgrades.
The city has received $100,000 to install new technology on buses, according to the Durango Herald.
The upgrades could include more payment options for customers like an app to buy tickets, automated bus stop announcements, and more accurate ways to gather passenger data.
The goal is to make it easier for people to ride.
Right now, passengers must have exact cash or purchase a pass.
The grant requires a $25,000 match.
