Man arrested after causing emergency stop at Sunport

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Arizona man was arrested after police say he caused an emergency stop at the Sunport.

Flight attendants say 54-year-old Robert Tomblin was drunk and asked him to move out of the exit row.

They say Tomblin became belligerent, and the pilot decided to divert the flight to Albuquerque.

Tomblin attacked three officers when the plane landed. He is facing three counts of battery against a police officer.
