Free Resources to Quit Smoking

The University of New Mexico is cracking down this year to enforce its policy to be tobacco-free.

UNM announced it is getting rid of designated smoking areas this school year and about 60 signs are now posted at entry points all around campus to remind anyone arriving that no tobacco products are allowed.

UNM said the policy will be enforced starting on Tuesday, August 15.

For anyone looking to quit smoking, UNM points out the state offers free resources.
