New Mexico senior Olympics free to public

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The New Mexico Senior Olympics and the City of Albuquerque are presenting the 39th Annual Senior Olympics State Summer Games.

Adults 50 and up will compete in 27 individual sports.

This includes anything from archery, bowling, cycling, track and field, dance, table tennis, pickleball and much more.

Right now the oldest athlete registered is Ethel Trimmer from Santa Fe who is in the 95 and over division.

All events are free to watch and run from July 19 to July 23.

Events are held at various sports venues throughout Albuquerque.
