Albuquerque man accused in fatal shooting to remain in custody

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The man accused of shooting and killing two men in a church parking lot will remain in custody until trial.

The victims, Jordan Mucher and Paul Francia were hanging out in the parking lot near Montgomerky and Carlisle earlier this month, when police say they approached Anthony Kapinski about stolen car parts.

Police say a fight broke out and Kapinski shot them both.

Monday, Judge Alisa Hadfield agreed with the state’s motion to hold Kapinski.
