ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas is weighing a run for governor.
Wednesday a spokeswoman confirmed that the Democrat is seriously considering running for office, saying he has deep concerns about the future of the state. She says he’s expected to make a decision on the move soon.
Balderas’ announcement came hours after U.S. Senator, Democrat Tom Udall, said he would stay in Washington.
