Hundreds of pounds of food donated after Lobo Football game

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The University of New Mexico and its new concessions partner, Levy Restaurants, are coming together to feed the community.

On Monday, they donated about 200 pounds of unused food from Saturday’s Lobo Football game to Albuquerque’s Barrett Foundation, a local charity that helps homeless women and children.

UNM Athletics says donations like these will be the rule after football and basketball games this season.
