12-year-old boy in critical condition after pond incident

CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) – A 12-year-old boy is in critical condition Wednesday morning after nearly drowning in Clovis.

It happened Tuesday afternoon at Hillcrest Park.

EMT’s pulled the boy from a pond and were able to keep him alive.

He had to be airlifted to a Lubbock hospital.
