Heather Wilson sworn in as US Air Force Secretary

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Former New Mexico Congresswoman Heather Wilson was sworn in Tuesday as Secretary of the Air Force.

Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis administrated the Oath of Office Tuesday outside the Department of Defense.

As secretary, Wilson will oversee Air Force bases across the nation including New Mexico’s Kirtland, Cannon and Holloman.
