Local efforts gather steam to stamp out hunger

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Duke City events and activities are gearing up to fight hunger throughout the State.

Saturday, May 13 is the nation’s largest single-day food drive, and New Mexico is ranked as one of the hungriest and most poverty-stricken states in the nation. Among the ways to get involved with hunger-relief efforts: The Stamp Out Hunger drive, the Spark Change campaign, and the Roadrunner Food Bank (RRFB) are all accepting food and cash donations.
