ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Gov. Martinez joined the Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce Wednesday to discuss creating jobs.
The daylong event looks at the state’s tax structure, growing industries, and future economic development.
“There are many moving pieces for economic development to work, but the biggest one is making sure we are welcoming to the people here,” the governor said.
Gov. Martinez talked about how big companies are now taking an interest in the state. She also mentioned how selling the state’s tourism locations is helping bring in businesses.
