Operation Hope delivers gifts to families

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Families in need are getting some extra help this holiday season.

As part of Operation Hope, APD officers, the chaplain unit, civilian staff, and others teamed up to deliver holiday gifts to families.

Thursday, families gathered at Encuentro in Albuquerque to receive them.

“I just like to see kids happy. And we do this mainly for the kids, but it makes a big difference for the parents as well,” said Patricia Savage, Operation Hope.

All of the gifts were donated by community members.
