One More Warm Day...

One more warm day before big-time weather changes. Temperatures will moderate into the 60s across most of the state on Thursday. Winds will rip across the northern mountains and northeast in the afternoon with gusts up to 50 mph. As the storm system approaches Thursday night winds will only get stronger. On Friday, temperatures will begin to cool. Showers and snow will develop across the north and very windy conditions will hit the Albuquerque metro area with gusts over 50 mph. Snow will continue Friday night in the mountains and Saturday too. We could see significant accumulation’s across the northern high terrain. Scattered showers are possible here in the metro area late Friday and early Saturday however most of the action will stay to our north. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
