Caregivers who deceived elderly Santa Fe man arrested

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Police have arrested the couple accused of taking advantage of a military veteran.

Police say 69-year-old Dian Zeemin and 62-year-old Joe Rosko were supposed to help 95-year-old Dennis Ferk with his finances. Instead, they’re accused of opening up a dozen credit cards under his name and maxing them out to a tune of $340 thousand.

After months of searching police caught up with the couple Thursday thanks to a tip. Rosko and Zeemin were arrested at an RV park in Questa.

They’re facing exploitation and forgery charges.
