ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – If your kids love the zoo they’ll probably love some hands on learning there.

The zoo is offering a BioPark Beginnings class geared for kids ages 3 to 6. The class lasts 12 weeks and includes hands on interactive activities to teach kids about their favorite wildlife. They’ll take place Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Coordinators say among the topics: the wonders of Africa and learning about African painted dogs, vultures, millipedes, zebras, sharks and more.

The classes include songs, games, crafts, and of course visits to the exhibits.
