KRQE News 13 Winter Weather Special

Mark Ronchetti

Long term models have been changing significantly over the past month. When we started September it looked like would be dry all the way through the fall. However, things have not worked out that way and since the month of October we’ve seen the long range forecast trend with more precipitation.

The KRQE Weather special looks at what to expect this winter as far as snow and temperatures go. We look at the current La Niña in place across the Pacific and we also look at what to expect from systems that may well affect the southwest this winter.

The weather special concludes with our weather nerd round table. We have a group of meteorologists who discuss what they think is in store for New Mexico this winter.
