Winter Weather: Albuquerque sees light snow

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP/KRQE) – Most of the state continues to see winter weather conditions and snow has becomes a possibility in the Albuquerque area.

The National Weather Service says parts of central and eastern New Mexico were under a strong wind advisory Monday while the northern part of the state has been plummeted with snow. For example, the Taos area has already seen about 14 inches of snow, and more is expected on Sunday and Monday.

Albuquerque saw some light snow on Monday night.

NM Roads reports conditions as difficult, with portions of the roads still wet and icy spots around the Grants and Gallup areas.
