BELEN, N.M. (KRQE) – A Belen teen is devastated after being targeted by thieves and one of the things they took was a reminder of his mother.

Jeramie Flores lost his mother Stephanie to cancer back in August. On his 18th birthday Wednesday his truck had been broken into and his state championship wrestling ring was gone.

Friends tell KRQE News 13 Jeramie put his first ring his mom’s casket. So his family and friends got together and bought him this new one and this time engraved a saying from his mother inside.

Two mothers from the team are now offering a $100 reward. They say they just want the ring back no questions asked.
