Lobos share Mountain Division crown after 56-35 win over Wyoming

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Lobos are now co-champions of the Mountain Division after a strong victory Saturday night.

At University Stadium, New Mexico handled Wyoming with a 56-35 win.

UNM finishes the regular season at 8-4 and they share the Mountain Division title with Wyoming and Boise State.

“I appreciate these kids and I appreciate these coaches because I’m not sure people really realize. I gotta say I’m proud of these guys and what we’ve accomplished here,” head coach Bob Davie said.

It’s their first division conference championship since 1997.

Now, the Lobos wait for which bowl game they will play in.
