More snow on the way...

Snow will continue across the Northern Mountains through this evening. Meanwhile, the next piece of the winter storm will work through tonight. This piece will favor the southern mountains, with the Gila and Sacramento Mountains expecting accumulating snow. The west and southwest facing slopes will continue to be favored. The Albuquerque metro area could see some light snow overnight as this piece works through. However, only expect as much as an inch in the foothills.

Monday will feature more wind across the state with the strongest winds across the east. Then then final piece of the storm works through Monday evening through Monday night. The north will again be favored for one last blast of accumulating snowfall. Skies will clear Tuesday as cold air settles into the state. Albuquerque will not make it out of the 30s Tuesday and Wednesday.
