“Small Business Saturday” takes place around New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – You have a chance to support local on this “Small Business Saturday”.

People will be filling Downtown, Old Tow, and Nob Hill spending their money at locally-owned businesses.

It was founded in 2010 as a nationwide effort to rally local resident to support small businesses in their communities. More than 95 million people shopped at a small business last year, marking an 8% increase from 2014.
