Clouds will increase today as a storm system approaches the state. Ahead of the storm, temperatures will be on the mild side. But as the storm pushes across the state, it will usher in much cooler air and the shot at mountain snow and valley rain.
Showers will develop across the north and west tonight and continue into Sunday. As the colder air moves in for Monday and Tuesday, any lingering showers will likely change over to mixed precipitation at the lower elevations. Accumulations are only expected over the Northern Mountains and Colorado San Juans where up to a foot of snow is possible.
