ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It’s possibly the biggest shopping day of the year as many of you get ready to head out the door to get the best deals.
If you’re planning on doing some shopping Black Friday you might want to listen up.
The first thing KRQE News 13 found that you should do is decide what you want to buy before you start shopping. The experts at C-Net says that means going in with a game plan. If you don’t, you could be lured into buying something that may look like a bargain but really isn’t.
Other things to look into are knowing the price pattern cycles, knowing model numbers and checking the manufacturer’s site first before heading to the store.
If you want to be super organized, experts suggest creating a spreadsheet.
This is good for items such as cameras.
Experts also suggest to unbundle the bundles. If you don’t need everything included in the bundle then buy things separately. This also goes for those bundles that come with a free gift card, be sure look at the prices of what you intended to buy first.
The experts at C-Net also say to watch out for hidden fees and subscription services that come with products.
Experts also suggest that if you get to one of the stores and don’t find a good deal, just wait. There’s a good chance prices will be better in the weeks between now and the New Year.
