ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It’s a childhood classic and it’s coming to life on stage thanks to a homegrown theatre troupe, The Dolls.
Each year, The Dolls, bring to the stage a much anticipated holiday production and this year it’s Jack and the Beanstalk.
Actors Kenneth Ansloan and Nicholas Handley joined KRQE’s This Morning show to discuss the production.
The protagonist, Jack, must navigate through tough tasks, such as selling his cow, falling in love, and even conquering a giant. It’s a fan favorite with humor, live singing and dancing.
Curtains go up Friday, December 2 at 8pm at the Wells Fargo Theatre in the National Hispanic Cultural Center. The production will last until Sunday, December 18th.
Friday and Saturday shows will begin at 8pm and Sunday Matinees at 2 p.m.
