John’s Friday Evening Forecast

The next storm is on the way...

forecast

The weather will remain quiet tonight for all those shoppers finishing out Black Friday. A couple of spot showers will remain possible across the far southeastern corner of the state tonight, otherwise expect mostly clear skies and cold temperatures.

Clouds will increase throughout the day Saturday as our next storm system approaches. Mountain snow and valley rain will develop Saturday night and continue into Sunday. The west and southwest facing slopes of the Northern Mountains will be favored. The San Juans of Colorado are under a Winter Storm Watch where over a foot of snow is possible between Saturday night and Monday.

Much colder air pours into the state for the beginning of next week. By Tuesday, even Albuquerque will struggle to reach the 40° mark.
