Annual arts and crafts show kicks off at Expo New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Black Friday isn’t just for big businesses.

Shoppers also crowded Expo New Mexico for the 17th Annual Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Holiday Show. That’s where nearly 200 craftsmen and artisans from all over the country are showing off and selling their work.

“Great chance to find something handmade, something original, something unique and not made is some other country. It’s just really refreshing to see so many people out here today supporting the arts,” said Liz Gore, Assistant Director.

Festival goers can also enjoyed holiday music and festive food. The show continues Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
