ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE)- People rushed in out and out of Toys ‘R Us with carts full of toys, and they were cheered on at the Best Buy, and it was all to catch the big Black Friday Deals.

“I was the first person here with a lawn chair,” said Sherry Grouell.

Families waited for hours, and everyone said they wanted different items.

“I’m here for the door buster sale on a game I’ve been wanting,” said one man outside Toys ‘R Us.

“I’m gonna try and get a big screen TV,” said Michael Gray outside Best Buy.

Other people said they didn’t quite know what they wanted, “I’m an impulse guy, I have a small game plan but most times, once I see it, I’ll get it,” said Phil Topping.

Best Buy’s line went around the building, and the Target on Louisiana had hundreds of shoppers anxiously waiting to get through the doors.

“I wasn’t expecting quite so many people to be here tonight,” said one man waiting in line.

But for most people, they said this is something they do every year.

“I know that a lot of people stay home for Thanksgiving and I understand that, but it’s kind of become a tradition for me to come out with my daughter,” said Melissa Volpert.
