2 arrested in connection to Roswell murder

ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – Police say two people have been arrested in connection to a murder from Wednesday.

Investigators believe the murder of the Roswell man was connected to an armed robbery.

Jeremy Ridens, 35, was found shot and stabbed and later died at the hospital.

Police later arrested Joshua Linares, 21, and Santiago Aguilar, 20. Both are charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

They are being held without bond.
