River of Lights kicks off 20th year at Albuquerque BioPark

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque’s River of Lights kicks off their 20th year at the BioPark.

Visitors will find new additions as part of the celebration, including selfies with Santa Claus on select nights.

The event begins this Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and will run through December 30th.

Construction for the Albuquerque Rapid Transit project runs along Central near the BioPark. The construction company says it will make sure two lanes are open in each direction to better allow visitors to get to the BioPark during the event.
