Local organization hosts annual Thanksgiving meal

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – One Albuquerque organization is making sure people in need get a proper Thanksgiving meal.

Tuesday, the Albuquerque Rescue Mission served hundreds of hungry guests at The Rock at NoonDay. One the menu, turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes followed by pumpkin pie.

Guests said they’re thankful for this event.

“I’m feeling wonderful. It’s a beautiful thing when people come out and reach out and help people. That’s nice,” said one guest.

The feast has been a Rescue Mission tradition since 1954.
