ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Governor Martinez is encouraging the community to “pull together” to help others this holiday season.

On Thursday, she announced a new initiative called “Pull Together” where 33 Motor Vehicle Department offices, as well as the Children, Youth, and Families Department will collect canned goods and toys for New Mexico families in need.

Most of the donations will go to families currently involved with CYFD. The rest will go to local food banks and charities.

They’ll start collecting on December 1.
