‘Town of Gabriella’ looking to hire ‘outlaws’

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Interested in becoming an outlaw? If so, you’re in luck. One local organization is looking to cast gunfighters.

The Town of Gabriella was build in Datil, NM from scratch by 70 year old Larry Iams. This was his life long dream to create a town by hand. This is where the High Plains Outlaws were born.

The High Plain Outlaws are looking for men and women to join in on the gunfight reenactment group.

Operations Manager, Helen Wood, Executive Director for NM Gunfighters Association, Daniel Griego, and Gunfighter, Justin Lotz joined the KRQE This Morning team to discuss the job openings. Watch above.

The recruitment is for 2017 and more so for the Big Two Day Grand Opening Event in June and July.

This event will include two full days of action packed gunfights between the The High Plains Outlaws and Albuquerque’s NM Gunfighters Association.
