ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The holidays can be the best time of year, but they can also be very hectic. There are ways to help manage the stress with a few helpful tips.

It’s always easier to say “no” first and change it to “yes” than it is to say “yes” and change it to “no.”
So, the first tip Dr. Sun suggests is saying “no” when there is too much on your plate.
Creating personal time for yourself is also a good idea to regroup. This can go for pre and post holiday events.
Budgeting for holiday spending can also help to manage stress.
Stress can bring on overeating and combined with the holidays, indulging can become quite easy. Dr. Sun suggests if you are invited to holiday parties, skipping meals prior to event will be helpful and save room for the parties buffet.
