Mark’s Wednesday Evening Weather Report

Dangerous Wind Thursday

Mark’s Wednesday Evening Forecast

A powerful storm system will pass just to our north on Thursday spreading dangerous winds and sharply colder temperatures across the state. A high wind warning is in effect for eastern New Mexico where we could see when gusts to 75 mph. Meanwhile, here in the Albuquerque area we’re likely to see winds topping out around 40 mph. Highs will dip down into the 50s on Thursday. There’s just a chance for some scattered showers in the form of snow over the northern mountains. We will be much cooler on Friday with clear skies and highs in the high 40s and low 50s. Over the weekend conditions will remain dry with another storm system closing in by Monday. Monday storm looks wetter than this current storm we’re dealing with.
