Two people arrested for shooting protester at Portland rally

PORTLAND, Ore. (KRQE) – Two people are behind bars after the shooting of a protester at an anti-Trump rally.

Police said a man was shot during a march on the city’s Morrison Bridge Saturday morning.

Officers arrested two people on attempted murder charges during a traffic stop. They also said they found a gun in their car.

They said the suspects have ties to a criminal gang and did not know the victim.

He is expected to survive.
