Local museum opens memorial exhibit for those killed in Orlando mass shooting

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE)– A local museum opened a new exhibit to memorialize those killed in a mass shooting.

The Holocaust and Intolerance Museum of New Mexico now has an exhibit called “Remembering the Innocent and Valiant.” It’s in honor of the victims of the Pulse Nightclub Shooting in Orlando.

Forty-nine people were killed in that attack that took place back in June.

The museum hopes to get people more connected to those who were gunned down.

That exhibit is scheduled to run through January.
