Chris’ Saturday Night Forecast

More sunshine and warmer than average temperatures are ahead for most of New Mexico!   An area of high pressure is building over the Southwest.   This high will keep the region dry and warmer than normal heading into the upcoming week.  High temperatures could be flirting with records by Tuesday afternoon.

A weather system is going to pass to our north through Colorado by Thursday and Friday.   This weather maker will not bring much if any moisture to New Mexico.  Instead the wind will crank up and temperatures will tumble to potentially the coldest temperatures we have felt all season long.

Albuquerque could experience its first freeze by Friday morning and overnight lows could dip into the upper 20s for central and southern New Mexico by next Saturday morning.   So enjoy the warmer than normal temperatures while they last over the next few days!
