Sheriff’s Office: Warrant issued for man in Taos shooting

TAOS, N.M. (AP) – Authorities in northern New Mexico are looking for a 34-year-old Taos man in connection with a shooting in which a man was wounded.

The Taos County Sheriff’s Office says Antonio “Tony” Martinez Jr. is named in an arrest warrant in the wounding of fellow Taos resident Hernaldo Aragon.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Aragon was found with a gunshot near a business Wednesday. He was treated at the Taos hospital and then transferred to a hospital in Albuquerque.
