Event set to help homeless veterans

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A local organization is hosting an event to help provide resource to homeless veterans.

The Who I Am Foundation, a non-profit organization, aims to reach communities nationwide to make influential impacts.

Jeanette Martinez and Jessie Jennings with the foundation joined KRQE’s This Morning team to discuss their upcoming event. Watch above.

The event aims to help homeless veterans by providing various resources. This event also helps to raise awareness toward mental health issues that are prevalent among the majority of homeless veterans.

The 1st Annual Steven Darrel Brown Veterans Community Coact event is set to take place on Saturday, November 12 at Coronado Park.
