Roswell police: Missing mentally-challenged man found safe

ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – The Roswell Police Department says a mentally-challenged man who was reported missing Tuesday after walking away from his residence in north Roswell, has been found safe.

Police say 62-year-old Andy Fresquez was last seen leaving his residence in the 3000 block of Edgewood Drive, which is between Vista Parkway and Monterrey Drive, Tuesday morning around 11 a.m.

Fresquez is about 5’11” tall with curly brown hair and was wearing a red long-sleeve pullover shirt, black pants and brown shoes, according to RPD. Police say he is also identifiable by scars on his left arm.
